Garlic sales in the region of Bajina Basta are booming after a local council issued the warning of a possible escaped vampire.
Sava Savanovic, the country’s most famous monster, is feared to be roaming the area following the collapse of his old watermill home.
Local mayor, Miodrag Vujetic said: “People are worried. Everybody knows the legend of this vampire and the thought that he is now homeless and looking for somewhere else and possibly other victims is terrifying people. We are all frightened.”
